Naturaronda Solda

General description

At 2000 metres above sea level, a particularly fascinating natural backdrop awaits you at the end of the Sulden valley. The landscape is characterised by forests, pastures, scree, glaciers, rocks and torrents.
The idea was born to create the “NATURAronda”, which means to make a round in nature, in the middle of the Stelvio National Park. The Naturaronda consists of the bear bath, EVOPÄD and the suspension bridge.

Directions

The Naturaronda starts next to the Kanzel chairlift at the EVOPÄD. Follow the training course to the Bärenbad at the end of the valley and then on to the suspension bridge. This connects trail no. 2 to the Hintergratkütte with hiking trail no. 1 to the Madritsch and Schaubachhütte. You then return to the starting point.

Directions

Take the Stilfserjochstraße SS 38 to Gomagoi, then turn left to Sulden. From Spondinig to Sulden to the car park at the Kanzel chairlift is approx. 20 km.

The EVOPÄD® course

The seven stations represent the “seven intelligences” of man, which can be rebalanced in a playful way. The sense of balance and movement play a surprisingly important role in mental and neurological development. The EVOPÄD® educational trail is recommended for children to improve motor and concentration weaknesses.

Bear Bath Sulden

Bear bath and suspension bridge

Bears love to bathe in water in the great outdoors. They probably also know about the beneficial effects of fresh spring and glacier water.

For the brave: Cross the suspension bridge, which is 44 metres long, 1.50 metres wide and 22 metres high, suspended above the roaring waters.
