Route: Prad – Meran – Lana – Gampenjoch – Fondo – Tonalepass – Ponte di Legno – Gaviapass – St. Caterina – Bormio – Stilfser Joch – Prad

For this tour we ride from Prad (900m) direction south passing the orchards of the Vinschgau Valley. In the basin of Meran our way leads us to Lana. From Lana on a very good road with a beautiful view and a lot of curves we go up to the Gampenjoch (1518m). On the pass we are already in Trentino finding now only italian sign-posts.

At Fondo we turn right and pass numerous villages until the Tonalepass (1883m) on a very good road. After the pass we go to Ponte di Legno. Here begins a stretch with very narrow and blind sections. Reached the Gaviapass (2621m) you may enjoy a wonderful view over a little see on the mountains.
After a short break we continue on a better road down to Caterina Valfurva and then to Bormio. From Bormio we return direction South Tyrol, driving up the Stilfserjoch and going down on the other side to Prad.

After 25 – 30 minutes of ride we are on the pass and can enjoy a magnificent view over the unique mountain world and landscape of the Ortler massif until we continue the road down to South Tyrol and Prad.
