South Tyrol, and in particular the Vinschgau Valley are one of the most impressive hiking areas in the Alps. The unique landscapes, the great cultural assets, combined with the sunny climate in the Vinschgau Valley are ideal conditions for a successful holiday.
Spring & Summer
The hiking season includes all four seasons – that is special to us. While elsewhere in the Alps are still reigning ice and snow, here the nature already awakes. Don’t miss the really inebriating natural spectacle with thousands of rose and white blossoms.
In the summer when temperatures climb, the lodge hosts wait for the hikers. About 20 huts and endless trails guarantee a unique mountain experience. You may also rise with cable cars and lifts.
Autumn & Winter
The “Golden Autumn” is the best time for hiking. The apple harvest is in full swing and the forest changes its colors. Traditional irrigation paths are now enjoying popularity
And also the winter in the Vinschgau Valley, in the Ortler area, has its own charm. Twice a week we offer guided snowshoe tours to explore the snow-covered mountains.
