Snowshoe hiking
Enjoying the winter wonderland
Once you’ve gone for a snowshoe hike you will understand why it is such a unique experience. (It’s told that even confirmed ski-hikers were seen with snowshoes!).
Unspoiled and snow-covered winter landscapes, soft powder-snow, solitude and tranquillity – this is what snow-hikers await on their tours. Snowshoe hiking is especially right for non-skiers and individualists, so that they get the benefits of the beautiful nature also in winter. And if also the weather and the snow conditions play their part, you will get in the grip of this passion too.
Snowshoe hiking has become more popular in recent years and now there are many suppliers of tours and products. For this kind of sport you don’t need any special trainings or skills. In other words: who can walk, can also walk with snowshoes.
Guided snowshoe hiking tours
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in collaboration with the alpine school we offer guided snowshoe hiking tours (extra charge). Snowshoes and walking sticks are available at the reception. If the snow conditions are not so good there will be a winter excursion.
Against muscle ache
After the challenges of the day a jump into the cool water makes you feel good. The soft movements in the water prevent muscle aches and afterwards you will feel fit and vital for the next day.
Wellness for your soul
Shining eyes, an even complexion, well-groomed and neat hands and feet. The mirror of your soul.
